Peculiarity: Jinn has the ability to manipulate snakes and talk to them. He can see through their eyes and see what they see and hear what they hear. He uses that to stalk and spy on other people. He can make the snakes fight for him or defend him. He has no issue sacrificing the snakes for his own purpose. The only snake he truly cares for is Beast.
When a situation is life threatening, his self-defense mechanism can get triggered. This means that his skin will shatter, and a black scaled skin will be revealed. The scaled of this skin are tougher, but his still vulnerable. Between the scales a black damp will be rise up. This damp can be fatal to Jinn himself and to others. If not threatened with medication, Jinn will die by the produce of this gas – as it also develops in his lungs.
His power to manipulate his snakes and to use their senses, is limited to a range of a 10m diameter. Even though he has a lot of snakes following him, the supply isn’t endless and despite the snakes protecting him, he’s still as vulnerable as any other human. Without his snakes he feels powerless and is barely capable of protecting himself. He’ll feel drained and exhausted.

Distinctive features— His skin exists of small scales that are barely visible. A few scales on his cheeks are more visible as they are whiter than his skin. The scales can reflect the light on certain angles. His skin can shed of if he fells threatened. A black skin with thicker scales will become visible and the whites of his eyes will turn black as well. The black scales are tougher and almost like a shield. While in this state, a black gas will form in his body. If not treated it could kill him or his surroundings.
He wears snakes around his body 24/7. Beast is the only snake to always be around him. The other snakes come and go as they please. He usually has around a dozen snakes around him. Only if he's in a safe and comfortable environment he will let go of the snakes and expose his body.

Brief description— Due his past Jinn is incredible sceptic. He doesn't trust anyone and doesn't open up to anyone. He's cold and silent. He doesn't talk unless he thinks his words could benefit the conversation or himself. He doesn't show any emotion. Only when talking about his past, his father or to people close to him he could show more emotion. He finds it difficult to be social and rather avoids contact. Although he doesn't show it, it can make him feel lonely. While being introvert he'd still prefer some human company. He has no trouble killing or hurting people, but only does so when he sees no other option left. When he does open up to someone, he is willing to do anything for that person. He will do anything to protect them and make them happy. He'd still do it in his emotionless and cold manner, but he'd do it in their best interest.

Jinn was born in a poor family in the rough neighborhoods of Wolfston. His father was a gambling addicted alcohol and his mother a prostitute. His father gambled and drank all their money away, causing his mother to work a lot. Jinn grew up mostly alone, taking care of himself as best as he could. He was a very independent young kid and very smart. Luckily, he knew how to get food and how to take care of himself. He spent his days mostly outside of the house. On the streets he encountered many people who felt pity for him and taught him the values of life. The kind lady next door was the one to really raise him, but to all good things came an end. When Jinn was eight years old his parents had run out of money. They were in debt and to repay their landlord they had decided to sell their only child. Before they could ever decide on an agreement between their buyer and themselves, Jinn had overheard the conversation and fled from his home.

In the next year Jinn lived on the streets of Wolfston. He already was used to be out a lot. If his parents had been home, they'd be abusive anyway. On the streets he'd already made the connections to know how to get food or shelter. He was able to spend a few nights a week with an elderly lady that knew about his situation, but that ended when she moved away. His new home was the park. With a bit of effort, he made a small shelter in the forest that laid next to the park. He found blankets and was capable to make himself a fairly comfortable place to spend the nights. At day he'd go into the park to beg for food or he'd simply steal the money. He was ruthless and smooth in his crimes.
One day, he tucked at the coat of a man. That man was no one less than Jeremy Suthcliff. The man had already started to create his empire and his name was well known. Even when hearing his name Jinn wasn't scared of. Unabashed he'd asked the man for food, as he always did. The man looked at him, was surprised by the attitude of the kid. Without even answering him, Jeremy lifted the kid over his shoulder and took him home. Filled with fear Jinn tried to escape the man's grasp, but as soon as Jeremy explained that he would like to adopt him and raise him as his own, Jinn eventually accepted it. After all, Jeremy was extremely wealthy and there was nothing more what Jinn wanted besides a home and family. And despite Jeremy's weird way of adopting him, the man had a kind heart towards the kid and was a good father.

10-16
He lived together with his father and brother. His brother had been adopted a few years before him and was bound to be the heir of the Suthcliff Empire. Jinn envied him but was at the same time glad to have a loving brother who cared for him. For once he had a family who cared for him. Jinn was motivated to do anything to be good for the family. Jeremy started to train his two sons to makes sure they would become good fighters, protectors and that they wouldn’t let their emotions decide their actions. At the age of twelve, Jinn discovered his powers. A snake had sneaked into his room. At first, Jinn was scared and didn’t know what to do, but when Jeremy wanted to remove the snake, Jinn felt the strange urge to protect the snake. Later it would become clear that the snake was the key to his locked powers. The snake’s name was Beast. He would be the guide to Jinn’s powers. Jinn was capable to communicate with the snake and the snake told him all about his powers. Jinn was stoked to finally learn the excited powers, but Jeremy wasn’t as thrilled. The man was worried and noticed a shift in Jinn’s personality. The boy went from happy to cold and distant. Jeremy suspected that it was because of the powers and for a short moment he considered to take Jinn to a lab so they could test if the powers were hurting Jinn in any way. Jinn took the wrong conclusion and thought that Jeremy disliked him and his powers and that he wanted to get rid of the powers. Too attached to the snakes and his powers, Jinn decided to run away from home. His trust in his family had been shattered and he has sworn of any human contact. Who needs humans if you have loyal snakes?

17-now

It didn’t take long for Jinn to arrive in miss Bluebonnet’s loop. He had scavenged quite a lot and knew a lot about supernatural beings. He had survived by stealing, living on the streets with only his snakes as company. As the loop is the perfect place to hide from Jeremy, he had decided to stay a bit longer in the loop. But that peace didn’t last forever. A year later the ominous man had entered the loop as well. Jinn wanted to run off, but there was no escape. Jeremy tried to convince Jinn that he didn’t mean any harm and that he only meant well, but Jinn’s trust was too damaged to be repaired. He needed time. So, Jinn decided to stay in the loop while Jeremy would move on. Only Jinn’s brother, Ace, would stay in the loop to keep an eye on Jinn. Jinn still didn’t know what to think of his family, but his pessimistic and indignant attitude is starting to fade.
