personality
protective – friendly – obsessive – helper – bipolar – chaotic Angel’s real personality is friendly, shy and protective. However, her peculiarity has drastically affected her personality, causing her to act and think in ways she doesn’t like - but she can’t stop it either. She will try to be friendly, but her peculiarity will quickly take over and she will always try to find a way to help the other person. She will keep insisting and if the person really doesn’t want her help, then she will create a situation in which the person has no choice but to accept her help. This is merely an example of how her peculiarity can affect her behavior. On her own she’s a quiet person, although she does talk to herself in an attempt to keep herself sane and to not let the peculiarity take her mind over. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, but let it be conscious or unconscious, she will always try to help or protect someone.

Angel has blonde to white hair and light blue eyes. In her hair and clothes can be small particles from the boēthós found. It makes her hair seem a bit messy, but she still looks beautiful. You can always see in her blue eyes that she’s a bit absent, as if she’s thinking of something else. Truth is, she's usually trying to retain herself from her peculiarity taking over. She wears mostly white clothes as her wings are white too.
Peculiarity
ἄγγελος/áŋ.ɡe.los/ βοηθόος/bo.ɛː.tʰós/ “hasting to the cry for help” The boēthós side makes Angel want to help everyone and everything. As a child this started off small and innocent, like cleaning off the table or helping someone find a missing puppy, but the more she helped others, the worse it got.The more people Angel helped, the more boēthós got fed - and it only wanted more. It required Angel to help others even more, do their homework, do their laundry, follow them around to make sure their every need was sought after. As the boēthós in her grew, she became more obsessive in helping others and luckily she realised this herself as well. She tries to contain herself, but boēthós can take the upperhand in times and force her to obsessively help someone else.
αἰών/ai̯.ɔ̌ːn/ “vital force, life, long life, eternity” The aeon inside of Angel makes her unable to find death. She can’t heal herself or others and can get wounded and hurt. Her body doesn’t regenerate or anything, but she’s simply incapable to die. The only way for her to die is of an old age. When she does encounter something that would normally take her life, her body is dead for a certain period of time. Usually this is around a few months, but it can take up to a year depending on the cause of death. After this period of time her body will come back to life and her peculiarity will have a strong hold of her mind. Returning from death takes a huge toll on Angel’s mind and she’s usually not capable of having normal thoughts or behavior for a few months. The time she’s ‘dead’ she constantly feels the urge to obsessively help and protect others, causing her frustration to grow and to not even be able to think normally once she’s alive again. Plus, as her peculiarity is the one who brings her back, it also needs more energy to regain itself and therefore her obsession to help and protect others will grow exponential. She can only return from the dead once the boēthós has been fed enough, without the boēthós she will most likely stay dead.
αὔρα/ǎu̯.raː/ “breeze, fresh air” If enough boēthós is built up inside of her, she can extract wings from her back and soar on the wind. If she were to train this side of her peculiarity more she would probably even be able to fly, but she’s mentally not capable of focussing on her own peculiarity in that way and therefore it’s merely soaring for now. The wings last for around half an hour if the boēthós is fully ‘loaded’ but it also depends on how much she uses them - it could be less than half an hour. When she soars on the wind, little small particles can be seen from the white feathered wings. The small particles are actually the visualisation of the boēthós. The particles look like dust or the seeds of a dandelion. They reflect in the light, causing them to shine as well.
history
04/07/1997 Angel is born. She’s a well-behaved baby and a happy child. 1999 Blake is born into the family. Immediately Angel feels grave responsibility for her younger brother and always looks after him and makes sure he’s happy. 2015 Angel has been helping everyone and everything and as Blake discovers his peculiarity, their parents notice that Angel’s helping hand is a peculiarity as well as she finds herself getting her wings for the very first time. The two of them quickly move to a loop to develop their peculiarities and to take the pressure of their parents. 2017As there are more people to please, Angel starts to help and protect others even more. Eventually the boēthós drives her crazy as she can no longer think normally and only thinks in ways to help others. She finds herself totally helpless -ironically enough- and kills herself in an attempt of freedom. However, a few months later she finds herself alive again and then learns the harsh truth that she won’t be able to die. 2018 Her saviors came: the hollows. Angel thought that maybe if someone else would her, that she then would be able to stay dead. In an heroic act she saves Victor from his doom and gets killed herself in the act. Once again she thinks she has finally found final peace. 2019 She awakes again. A longer period of time was needed for her to come back to life as her death used a lot of her boēthós. Fueled by her peculiarity she can make no sense of her own thoughts and behavior and desperately tries to find people she can help. 2020 After helping enough people to somewhat get a hold on her own thoughts again, she realises that she needs her brother, the one person she has always helped and protected her whole life long. Driven by her peculiarity she starts to search for him, only to find him in the loop of Rosefinch. Now she has finally arrived with a barely sane mind. The only thought she has is to protect and help wherever she can.
