Character as Human
Nuala is a shy, insecure child. Like in her animal form she is a little clumsy and gets into the weirdest accidents. She shy's away from any humanly contact and is scared for man and elderly people. She doesn't remember a thing about her parents and brothers, which means that she doesn't miss them. What she does miss is a protective family in which she can feel safe and calm again. Since she was hunted a lot, she has lot's of nightmares in which she can change back to her animal form any time. It is hard for her to control her gift which means that she changes back and forth even if she doesn't want it. Because of her animistic instincts, she reacts like a doe at times. She runs away instead of meeting danger head on and acts on her instincts instead of thoughts. Which can be hard to understand for some others at times. (the rest follows in RPG.)
Character as Fawn
As a fawn Nuala is a insecure, clumsy animal. She is known to shy away from people and other animals, when she can. She dislikes it greatly if someone wants to pet her or if she gets a lot of attention. Without a herd to be a part of she feels quite miserable. It makes her feel vulnerable and scared. She has none to trust, and isn't fast into trusting someone. They won't come that far with nice words and treats. Since she is a fawn she is highly instinctive and follows them instead of showing her more human characteristics. The longer she stays into this form, the more animal-like she becomes. Nuala is a shapeshifter and as such is able to transform into a small fawn. It takes quite a bit of energy to do so, physically and at times mentally as well. If she has a bad mental state, the young girl will have trouble transforming back to her human body, and as such in trying times she will be find hiding in the pasture with the other animals. The downside of her gift is that she is still clumsy and not able to put up a long fight. Her strengths however are that she can hide easily in wooded areas and is pretty agile. After shifting Nuala can have trouble standing or taking a few steps as her balance might be off and as shifting is a tiring business she has to eat quite a bit to keep up her strength and energy. The positives however are the true sense of freedom and the fact that she can survive easier in her second form. Nature always has some leaves or grass for her to chew on, which she can use as food in her fawn form.

Appearance as a Human
Her appearance as a human is one with large brown-greenish eyes and light hazel-brown curls. She has a small shaped face with a gentle look and is normal height and weight. Even though she lost some weight when she was changed into a fawn for that long. She is healthy looking with a bit of color on her cheeks and mainly smiling, even though she is scared. All in all she is just your average ten year old girl.
Appearance as a Fawn
Nuala's appearance as a young fawn is that of a rare white-faced piebald. Which basically means that she has to much white in her fur. Her eyes are a beautiful piercing blue. Her characteristic appearance means that everyone can acknowledge her since she is such an outstanding animal. Beside her white face, she also has white legs, a white tail and belly. Her back and ears are covered in brown, with a few white spots. She has large ears and the build of a very young animal. Because of the fact that her form will not change that fast,while aging.


About ten years ago little Nuala Breanne Doherty was born in a small loving family on an old farm. She had two older brothers, who were actually twins. Between her and her older brothers was a huge age gap. They were already twelve years old when she was born, which meant that she grew up without them. For her parents Corey and Devony it was a huge surprise to have a baby girl, she was a unexpected present for them. Which meant that they cared for her a lot.

In the first few weeks of her life her parents couldn't believe their eyes and were blissfully happy. Devony had already past her forties which meant that a natural pregnancy was almost unheard off. While they had known that they were having another baby, a third child for a while before she was born, it was still a shock when they actually had her.

The first year was as every other child. She developed like she should have been developing. She was an exceptional well baby girl. Unlike most children, she cried a lot. She was overly sensitive and didn't like to be held by any other than her parents. Even with her brothers she was harsh, she would hit them with her tiny fist and wail until one of her parents would take her. When they held her, walked with her and fed her, she was alright. A sweetheart.

The next few years past in a blur. She had a safe, happy family and was slowly coming to terms with her two older brothers. Nuala loved being outside, playing alone or with animals. When her parents brought her to a petting, she was totally relaxed for the first time. Especially the deer and fawn inside one of the pastures had her full attention.

That trip caused for many more trips in the years to come. Her parents always brought her towards the same petting, which allowed her to get bonded with the fawn and deer. On one particularly morning in the middle of the visit, she got scared. A loud hunting dog had broke loose and made her and the other animals spook. Her parents were drinking a cup of coffee with a few others. They knew she would be fine on her own. She was safe at the petting and if something happened they would notice it immediately.

But they didn't. Instead of screaming and crying she rushed inside the pasture, which she was familiar with. The strong emotions made her particular gift strong enough to take a large effect on her. She changed, the changing wasn't that painful. Of course for the first time changing bones and skin, was a little scary, but it didn't hurt her. She tired. That she did.

Exhausted from the change she didn't even notice that she was a little, small fawn. With large wobbly legs and lot's of white. Normally fawn's are beautifully brown with a few small white dots here and there. She was more white than brown. She had huge blue eyes, instead of the familiar dark and warm brown the others had. One deer, a young mother who had lost her calf just a few days ago, immediately went into a protective mother mode. Her mother instincts were strong and she protected the young fawn by pushing her with her nose and getting her to join the others in a tight and well-formed group. Her movements were shakily and unfamiliar which made her a lot slower than the other deer.

Around that time her parents and a few of the keepers noticed the dog. Which wasn't able to get into the pasture. It was hunted down and killed, before it could hurt any one. It was a well known dog around the petting, it had killed a few of their animals before. Which meant that they didn't notice another fawn in the middle of the insurrection. When they finally did they saw a rare kind of fawn, standing along side their herd of deer. Such a rare fawn, that they were sure it was one of kind. They knew about some other cases, in which a fawn was born with lot's of white, but none of them as they remembered, had blue eyes like she had.

They knew about such a case in Norway, which meant that when she was strong enough in the eyes of her new caretakers, she was shipped away into Norway. Were she became part of another herd in a protected wildlife area. It turned out to be not that protected, since hunters discovered her existence and tried to hunt her down. She escaped out of the forest into the fields. Instead of stopping there she started trekking around searching for a safe place. Most hunters she was able to shake off, some did follow her. Until she ended up in a loop.
