Maeve is naturally not an angry or evil person, not many people are born with a complicated and dangerous attitude, at least she is not. As a young child she was always quite comfortable in her own skin, more so when she was outside. She was as sweet as honey, as kind as one could be and always had a smile for every person. Innocent, kind and generous that was something that she tended to be. Something changed over time however, as her gift became more prominent, she had a harder time accepting things that other humans did towards nature, she became fiercly protective of it and eventually bonded with a small meadow hidden in a forest near her hometown. All was well, she grew up without people noticing her odd bond with the outsides and she enjoyed her free time in her own small space. Not long after her fifteenth birthday Maeve turned dark after some other teens had ventured out into her bonded area and managed to burn a part of it. The careful balance of her bonded area was disturbed and as such the young girl started developing a more dominant and assertive character. No way would she allow anyone to harm her place again.

As she turned slightly more dark, people started noticing her gift and her parents eventually decided it was best to send her away into a loop. A loop in France was the nearest of those that were available and the at that time sixteen year old had no problem fitting in. Although she was hard to reach and had trouble binding with her new area and as such turned darker, more dangerous over time. Her powers are balanced by nature itself, and only a bonded area could make her grow into her powers and keep them under tight control. It took Victor to make her finally resign her anger and start bonding with the nature in the loop.

After the loop was attacked by hollows, Maeve lost all balance again and started turning into a Dark Nymph. She tended to be very free spirited, did not follow any rules except her own and was maybe even seen as dangerous at times. She would not think before she acted and was all about the adrenaline rushes. Her attitude became playfull on the outside, but inside she remained traumatized. Losing her bonded space two times had broken her heart. It almost seemed like she left a piece of herself behind and is afraid to bond again, with people or with plants. Neither of those were deemed safe or comfortable enough to allow her to balance herself and as such she went astray of her warm character and instead became a risktaker. Maeve was very dominant, took every bit of control she could and did not seem to like the idea of working with others anymore. Her trust in people went to an all time low. As for now she is very assertive, and will not change her mind about anything without a very good reason. Stubborn as she is, she is all but a gentle soul. Instead she now is the force of nature, something to be reckoned with.

APPEARANCE

Maeve is a small Asian looking woman. She stands about 1.68 m height and has long dark brown hair. Most days she tends to wear dark, well fitting cloths and her eyes will shine with a strong determination. She is slender and healthy.

GIFT

Dark Nymph
A dark nymph is a nymph that has left its own balance behind for various reasons. In the case of Meave the Hollows that caused a lot of problems in her last loop in France have made her turn dark. Dark nymphs will have trouble remaining in control of their own gifts as well as are deemed quite dangerous. In her case Maeve has lost a part of herself after she was forced to leave the loop behind and this has desastreus effects on her and her gifts.

Force of Nature
Nature has the power to harm and create. This power is to harm, to show the brute force behind nature. When Maeve is angry or very emotional she is able to take the energy of plants and make herself grow stronger, stealthier and healthier. It is something that enables her to take a few hits. The only downside is that she can not hold the energy for longer then ten minutes. In those ten minutes she has to use it. Besides that she can not call upon this gift without the use of strong emotions.

Plant Mutation
Maeve is able to mutate plants into becoming warriors of all sizes and making safe plant poisonous. As such someone trying to harm her or those she loves will be against a strong opponent. Most of the warriors she creates seem small and weak but posess a strong poison that can even kill if left untreated. However it takes a lot of concentration on her part to create them and most of the time she can only mutate about three or four plants, she can not move while doing so and this means that she does not tend to use it that often.

Super Growth
The power to grow plants into super plants. She can make strong plant walls and other impressive stuff. This is the only part of her power that she can control although it does tend to tire her out pretty much after a few minutes. She gives her own energy to the plants to grow in the way she wishes them to. Depending on how much she pushes them to grow, the process of tiring can be slower or faster.

Nutrient Movement
The movement of water and other important nutrients for plants underground. She can sense those and manage them in other to make plants flourish or die. In the case of a dark nymph it is more often used to make people turn away from nature, because it seems to have withered, after which she can return the water and nutrients and keep it safe. However, since Maeve is no longer in touch with her own sense of peace and love, she has trouble controlling this gift and instead tends to destroy things more often then she wishes to. Besides that she gets heavy headaches when she uses this side of her gift.

Leimakid
A leimakid is a nymph that is mainly connected with meadows, fields and flowers. It tends to be warm and kind in its form of using that gift although it can turn hard when needed. The gifts that Maeve had as a Leimakid are the following.

Balance of Nature
The power to grow or weaken plants in order to balance the enviroment into a stronger ecosystem. It is something that proceeds to happen over time, and as Maeve gets a stronger bond with that ecosystem it will become a super ecosystem. Totally balanced, without illness. It also gives Maeve more power to use in order to create plantlife or make mutant plants. Her powers work only in an area she is bonded to or wishes to be bonded with.

Plant Mutation
Maeve is able to mutate the plants in her bonded area, and as such can make them into any creature she wishes, no matter how big or small. She does have trouble controlling more then five plants when they are big and more then ten when they are small and as such can be easily overpowered by larger groups of peculiars.

She gets heavy headaches when she uses this side of her gift for too long and needs a lot of rest afterwards.

Limpho Warrior
Limpho means gift it is believed that she will become very gifted in the art of war. The only reason one can become dark enough to be a warrior is the urge to fight against everything that can harm nature and the believe that she can not protect herself and nature without that fight. It will morph her gift into something that comes close to evil.

Darkness of Nature
Nature can seemingly be dark. That darkness is the power of this gift. When used the plants she takes the life energy from will wither and die. It will enable her to take hits even with gifts of other peculiars and protect whatever she wishes to protect for a short amount of time. Five to ten minutes at most.

Plant Mutation
Maeve is able to mutate plants into becoming animal like warriors, like wolves and other predators. One bite of hit with those mutated plants can wound her enemies. Even if that is not enough, all her mutated plants are poisonous. The poison does not differ that much of that of the dark nymph gifts.

HISTORY

Around fifty years ago Maeve was born in a small community to two doting parents. She had two older sisters, who at that time loved their baby sister and everything her little heart could desire and more. Her parents were quite wealthy for that time and age, however most of the time they would not show it to the outside world and they were very giving. Maeve grew up healthy and strong, until the age of eight when she suddenly started to have sickness whenever she did not leave the house to go to her favorite spot for a few days.

It was the start of her gift arising and her parents had trouble understanding what made her react that way to nature. Although they had plans of moving homes, they decided to put it on hold for the health and safety of their youngest daughter. Maeve started visiting the woods more and more with her parents and she bonded strongly with that area.

When Meave was eleven or twelve years old the bullying started because she was not that much a down to earth child and besides that she tended to be the nerd of the class. Maeve being herself was too kind for the world to really react and tended to hide more and more behind her books and classical music. Her parents allowed her to learn how to play a violin, flute and piano. All those instruments gave her new things to do, besides visiting the woods which made for a more healthy pasttime.

When Maeve was sixteen, some of her bullies decided to set her bonded area a flame, it made her turn dark and she started fighting against them, even with her powers. She was so out of control that her parents send her away to her first loop, a loop in France. There Maeve stayed and only one person was able to start melting her bounderies. Victor Frankenstein, he managed to calm her down enough after a few years and she bonded with the nature of the loop. A year ago however that loop got destroyed by hollows and as such Maeve turned dark again. She managed to flee to another loop without turning that much older. She now looked seventeen and had only lost about a year. Maeve entered the loop of miss Swift until she heard about Victor again, he managed to get to Norway, to the loop of Miss Bluebonnet. On a whim she decided to go there as well and here she is now, waiting to find her friend.

TRIVIA

- Meave loves reading, and can be called a big nerd. She enjoys mostly books with a lot of information about science.
- Meave still enjoys listening to classical music, although she at times listens to hardcore music as well.
- Meave secretly wishes to become connected with an area of nature again, however the fear of it and the anger towards the hollows made sure of it that she will not think of it more then one second before ensuring that she has the right priorities.
- Meave knows a thing or two about healing and loves discussions about the art of healing.
